Release Notes

GMobileSync 1.3.7 is a minor release of the GMobileSync software.

In this release, we haven’t provided too many exciting features for the software. We wish to maintain it's currently status with a few feature improvement and bug fix. After this release, we are going to plan for the next major release of the software, which may brought a lot of changes.

What's New

New Features

  • Bypass network detection
Add an option in the settings dialog, which allows people to bypass the network connection test when synchronizing.
  • Experimental multiple calendar support
All visible calendars on Google Calendar will be synchronized to local. Local newly added appointments will only be added to the "default" calendars on Google Calendar.

Bug Fix

We have fixed several bugs found in the old releases.

For detailed change history, please see this discussion thread:

Important Note (For old users)

For old version users, after you have installed the new version, we suggest you perform a "Delete Events" (in Options menu) and set the time zone settings in Settings dialog box before making new synchronizations. The "Delete Events" operation will remove all the events in Pocket Outlook which was created by GMobileSync before. After that, you can perform a "Sync" operation and get your calendars back from the online Google Calendar.

We also strongly recommended that you backup your calendars whenever you are trying a new verison of GMobileSync.

Bug Report

This minor release of GMobileSync is mainly performed by Li Fanxi who is a new developer of the software. If you find any problems or questions, please feel free to submit your questions at CodePlex Issue Tracker ( or send emails to gmobilesync <AT>

Known Issue

  • Error about "Native Method Call Failed"
The root cause may related to certain appointments in the Pocket Outlook which can not be saved correctly.
The problem has been workarounded in the latest Development Build.

I have been looking a long time for any application to synchronize multiple google calendars to my PDA. Needed just one way sync because imo editing appoints is easier on a PC. This is simple, multiple agenda's are combined in my Samsung Omnia II (Windows Mobile 6.5) and it just works without difficult settings or other needed software. Great application!!!

I just installed GMobileSyncSetup_r32483.CAB, but it keeps having the native method failed problem. I sync with a HTC Herald windows mobile 6 (wifi). Anyone an idea how I could solve this?

Wow, I've been farting around with the Google Sync for months with no success. I just stumbled across this project by chance, installed it and it just works, no problems, no hassles. Very cool, excellent job. (Motorola Q w/Win Mobile 6.1)

HTC Fuze WinMo 6.1. Everything works well for me so far. I don't mind syncing phone > 1 calendar. The more important aspect for myself is geting multiple calendars synced up, especially ones I subscribe to, and this fixes that for me. I love it. Only other thing I can ask for is syncing the multiple calendars to categories, so I know what calendar they're from. Working over AS conn as well! Thanks

Works well on my HTC Touch Diamond (WM6.1). I have successfully synced 3 calendars.. now I will use it daily and let you know if I find any problems... However, I am missing a scheduled sync functionality... Great work so far.

It works perfectly with my HTC P3300 windows mobile 6.0. With the older version I coudn't manage two google calendars at the same time. I had many functions errors. Now I can. It works in both senses. Many thanks!
