This is the latest Development Build of GMobileSync.

This build is for test purpose ONLY. No assurance about the quality of the development builds.

Compare to the latest stable release 1.3.7, this development build may have solved the following issue:

- Native method call failed
- NullReferenceException
- Must use full Google email address as login credential

Introduction

GMobileSync 1.3.7 is a minor release of the GMobileSync software.

In this release, we haven’t provided too many exciting features for the software. We wish to maintain it's currently status with a few feature improvement and bug fix. After this release, we are going to plan for the next major release of the software, which may brought a lot of changes.

What's New

New Features

Bypass network detection

Add an option in the settings dialog, which allows people to bypass the network connection test when synchronizing.

Experimental multiple calendar support

All visible calendars on Google Calendar will be synchronized to local. Local newly added appointments will only be added to the "default" calendars on Google Calendar.

Bug Fix

We have fixed several bugs found in the old releases.

Important Note (For old users)

For old version users, after you have installed the new version, we suggest you perform a "Delete Events" (in Options menu) and set the time zone settings in Settings dialog box before making new synchronizations. The "Delete Events" operation will remove all the events in Pocket Outlook which was created by GMobileSync before. After that, you can perform a "Sync" operation and get your calendars back from the online Google Calendar.

We also strongly recommended that you backup your calendars whenever you are trying a new verison of GMobileSync.

This minor release of GMobileSync is mainly performed by Li Fanxi who is a new developer of the software. Known Issue

The root cause may related to certain appointments in the Pocket Outlook which can not be saved correctly.
The problem has been workarounded in the latest Development Build.

Rated 4 Stars (out of 5) - Having a problem with 1.3.5.x (Native Method Call Failed) so i downloaded from the 1.3.6 link. Under HELP->ABOUT it still shows 1.3.5.34682. I did a ADD/REMOVE, even reset phone (Touch Pro) and then install. Did i miss something?

GMS 1.3.5 had some issues because GData API was looking for some elements which were not required earlier. This version has that issue fixed.

As a bonus, this version also has a feature which was planned fro version 1.4. Yeah, this version now supports connections through Proxy Servers! Just go ahead and set your proxy on the settings screen.

As always, please let us know if there are any bugs or issues. We will try our best to get them fixed ASAP.

Hi,

The earlier version 1.3.5 had a bug which gave an error at the end of the Sync Process. This was due to the fact that the settings could get saved without the UTC Offset value.

This release has that issue fixed. Please load your settings screen and save it at least once before you run a sync!
